Kathy Hamilton |
|
Kathy’s life-long love of horses has led first her daughters to the same passion then onto establishing Hamilton Farms. Kathy’s love of horses began when she was 8-years-old and living in New Jersey. She and her husband now live at the farm and travel to all the horse shows with the customers. |

Sharon Haynes |
|
As a former buyer for Stone and Thomas, Sharon combines her business background with her love for horses. The grooming and care of the horses, daily stall cleaning and helping coordinate the lesson program are just a few of her responsibilities. Sharon’s teenage daughter, Lauren, also shares her mother’s passion. Lauren takes lessons, competes in local horse shows and lends a hand at the barn. This mother/daughter team enjoys all the benefits that come from working together at Hamilton Farms. |

Kensie Westerfield |
|
Kensie Westerfield, a native of Charleston, graduated in May from Elon University in North Carolina with a double major in corporate communications and journalism. Westerfield worked for COMAR, Inc. for four years before becoming a partner in Executive Ink, LLC the new parent company of West Virginia Executive and Executive Meeting Planner magazines. Westerfield has been riding and showing American Saddlebred and Friesian horses for the past 18 years and continues to help her parents in operating Hamilton Farms, LLC. Brett Hamilton |
|
Brett Hamilton, daughter of Kathy Hamilton and Linwood, went on her first trail ride back in 1988 and that marked the beginning of a life long hobby. After graduating from Elon University in Elon, NC she came back to WV and began working at the New England Financial. She is currently a financial advisor and continues to ride in the evenings spending her time at Hamilton Farms. She shows in the performance division and purchased a Walk-Trot horse at the Fall ’08 Tattersalls auction, which she is excited to show in the upcoming ‘09 show season. |

Clay Westerfield |
|
Clay Westerfield grew up in Harrodsburg, KY around farming and horses. It was his love of horses that put into motion his move to WV and finding the woman he would marry, Kensie. He now helps out around the farm when he is not working at Fisher Well Surveys as a wire line supervision in the oil field. |
